Terms of Service

These terms ("Terms") apply when you use the JCross website at jcrossllcjapan.com, request a quote, or buy any product or service from JCross Company ("JCross", "we", "us"). By using our site or doing business with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. About us

JCross Company is a Japan-registered business operating from 2720-1 Kimagase, Noda-shi, Chiba 270-0222, Japan. We export used Japanese vehicles, operate a recycling shop, and provide house moving services.

2. Website use

The information on this website is provided for general information only. Vehicle listings, pricing, and availability change frequently and are not a binding offer. We confirm any sale only in writing through an invoice or contract.

You agree not to use this website in any way that is unlawful, infringes another party's rights, or attempts to interfere with its operation.

3. Quotes and orders

Any quote we provide is valid for 7 days unless we state otherwise in writing. Prices are quoted in Japanese yen unless agreed otherwise. We will confirm the final price, scope, and shipping terms before any payment is made.

An order becomes binding only when we accept it in writing (by email or signed contract) and we have received the agreed deposit or full payment.

4. Payment

International bank transfer (TT) is our standard payment method. Other methods may be agreed in writing. Full payment is required before a vehicle is shipped. Bank fees are paid by the sender.

If payment is delayed, we may release a reserved vehicle to another buyer, and we reserve the right to charge for any storage or auction-related costs we incur.

5. Inspection and condition

Every vehicle we sell for export includes a condition report from a certified Japanese inspector. The report describes the vehicle as inspected on the report date and is provided in good faith. Used vehicles will have wear and minor cosmetic defects that may not be itemised.

You are encouraged to review the inspection report and ask any questions before confirming purchase. By confirming, you accept the vehicle as described in the report.

6. Shipping and delivery

Shipping is arranged on your behalf with third-party carriers (RORO operators, container lines). We provide the bill of lading, export certificate, and commercial invoice on shipment. Estimated transit times are guidance only and depend on sailings, weather, and port operations beyond our control.

Title and risk pass to you on the terms set out in your contract (typically FOB or CIF). Once the vehicle is loaded at the Japanese port, claims relating to transit, port delays, or destination handling are between you and the carrier or your clearing agent.

7. Customs, duties, and local regulations

Import duties, taxes, port charges, clearing fees, and any other costs at the destination are your responsibility. You are responsible for ensuring the vehicle complies with the import rules, age limits, and emissions standards of your country. We share guidance based on customer experience but cannot guarantee the rules in your jurisdiction.

8. Returns and cancellations

Used vehicles are sold as inspected and described. We do not offer returns or refunds once a vehicle has been confirmed and paid for, except where required by Japanese law or as expressly agreed in your contract.

If you cancel a confirmed order before shipment, deposits may be forfeited to cover sourcing, auction, and storage costs we have already incurred.

9. Recycling shop and house moving services

Recycling shop items are sold as-is, in person at our shop in Noda-shi. House moving services are subject to a separate written quote that sets out scope, dates, and pricing. The terms in that quote prevail in the event of any conflict with these Terms.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of a transaction is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific product or service that the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses (for example, loss of use, loss of profit, or alternative-transport costs).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Japanese law.

11. Force majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government action, port closures, strikes, war, sanctions, or carrier failures.

12. Intellectual property

The JCross name, logo, website design, and original content are owned by JCross Company. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish them without our written permission.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute arising under or in connection with them will be brought before the Chiba District Court, Japan, unless we agree to another forum in writing.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of our website or services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
